Financial arrangements are negotiable as well as the relationship and also depend on the specific role(s) and accountability.
1099-based options include: hourly, fixed-price, monthly retainer, commission, equity, performance-based incentives, or some combination.
A full-time or part-time W-2 relationship may also be possible.
Ms. Hartley has both 1099 and W-2 experiences to draw upon in terms of the advantages and disadvantages of both and will be happy to share her perspective.
If an assignment requires additional staffing or specialized services, there are two (2) possible approaches:
- Ms. Hartley will engage and manage qualified contractors and other third-party service providers in a 1099 relationship.
- Client will engage and Ms. Hartley will align and orchestrate the work and work products.
