an important adjustment to the technical implementation strategy, setting
roll-out strategy for critical pre-launch deliverables, developing business
requirements, and facilitating process/infrastructure components.

relocation to Cary from NYC. Prior to
the move, served as local manager for a
boot camp for new hires held in Cary.
Commuted to NYC for approximately 2 months to prepare and help
facilitate the move for the Client Services organization. In Cary, served as interim client service
manager leading initiatives to improve processes and customer
satisfaction. In role of Product
Manager for Seer Mediator, led initiative to define and package a complete product
offering including working with prospective customers to integrate
feedback. In role of Release Manager
for SeerHPS, reporting to CTO led initiative and worked closely with QA,
Development, Technical Writers, and Packaging to coordinate a major release
with the directive to stabilize the software and improve customer satisfaction;
stated release was subsequently described as the “first quality release” to be

development initiatives.
At the time of
CA’s acquisition of Mega Group (and companion company ISSCO), employment
opportunity was initiated by CA as a result of unsolicited recommendation from
Mega Group principals during acquisition-related layoff period for both
acquired companies. (At the time was working as a Consultant continuing to
assist Mega Group as needed.)
Served initially as a resource and knowledge base for the spreadsheet
product (MegaCalc which was renamed to CA-SuperCalc.) working with QA,
Development, Support, internal CA application initiatives, and customer
applications. Received letter of commendation from customer that was added to
the CA “Wall of Fame” and also received a handwritten note from CA’s CFO
expressing his gratitude and pleasant surprise at the successful internal
implementation, attributing its success directly to my involvement. Was subsequently promoted to roles of
software and site management in San Diego (~125 employees and several software
products) and then Malvern, PA. Managed
complex corporate environment and circumstances – and bi-coastal
logistics; participated in monthly

Company profile: contract programming and
professional services; data processing service center
Upon graduation, requested
by CMC to interview for an advertised opening and subsequently received choice
of 2 positions at CMC: a non-programming position which was advertised and an
unadvertised entry-level programming position.
The latter was offered as a result of my performance on a data
processing aptitude test. Based on
an on-campus visit earlier in the semester where I spent some time with CMC’s
president, CMC subsequently requested that I interview for the advertised
opening at the end of the semester.
Assignments at CMC were end-to-end
custom contract programming assignments for external clients as well as working
on internal software being used by the company. Involved design,
implementation, testing, documentation, delivery, and training. External clients included ITT, Liggett
Group, GTE, and Northern Telecom.
